Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú named Dr. David Eaton, dean of the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business at the University’s Board of Regents meeting on September 3, 2021. Eaton had served as the interim dean of the college since 2019.
Dr. Chris Mitchell, Professor of Music at Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú, was recently awarded the Robert K. Baar Award for Excellence in Choral Music from the Kentucky chapter of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).
Dr. Bommanna Loganathan, professor of chemistry at Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú, has been accepted to the Fulbright Specialist program and will be on the Fulbright Specialist roster for a tenure of four years. The highly selective Fulbright Specialist program is an initiative of the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs that sends U.S. faculty and professionals to serve as researchers and expert consultants on curriculum, faculty development, institutional planning, and related subjects at overseas academic institutions.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú’s Nonprofit Leadership Studies program has announced the appointment of Dr. Elise Lael Kieffer as the new program director.
